Boga grips are very well made and the readings are accurate. They are expensive but are worth the money. They are one of the few scales that the IGFA will certify. Excellent in my opinion, easy to use and you don't hurt the fish either.

the Boga scales are NICE, but the Rapala versions are pretty decent, easier to use, and cost a lot less.

This is the one I have.

When I purchased the Boga grip it was mainly for the Striper's I catch on jerkbait's.Sometime's the Boga grip can be difficult to use and it feel's like you dont have enough distance between the part where you activate the release and the fish.

I can see where the Rapala one would be easier to use.
