Questions about the board

Post by NickTheLittleStick »

I’m pretty new to posting on the board, although I've been looking at it for a while. I was just wondering the reasoning there are the names for people, i.e. NutCase, BigNut, and NumbNut. Maybe it’s an inside joke that I'm just not a part of and that’s fine, but I'm just a little confused. Thanks.

We all, or most, have what is the old term "A handle", nickname, etc. Now as for Numbnut, OddNut, Bignut and such. Those came out of the Western Rally event. No money is given out for the winners(Losers) but they get a plague and lot's of ribbing. Oddnut would be for some trophy fish i.e. a 3oz bluegill, 30 lb catfish or carp weighed in. Numbnut is for something really good, like hooking a boatdock, falling out of the boat, etc. Bignut is for the biggest bass weighed in. Hope this sort of explains it. Checkout the Westerbass.com main page and follow links to Western Rally then check out results, etc. Bill K :)
Fun fishing the country, each and every week.

Welcome to the forum. You are now an official Nutcase in
good standing. With this honor it is strongly suggested
that you join us in as many of our fun fishing events that
you can. Boater or non boater keep a lookout for the
next event.

Welcome!

Thanks,
Mike

And just offering to hook up with many of the GREAT people here for a day looking for a open back seat or having one to offer.

Just and AWESOME community Western Bass is !!
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Well I am a non-boater so any time anyone has an open back seat, I would love to tag along and learn all that I can. And I appreciate the welcome. Thanks
