I have an older low end Lowrance (X47?). It works but it doesn't have a transducer or power cord. I could buy a new and better unit for the price of the transducer and power cable. Is there somone out there who has any of these items lying around? I plan on giving it to a friend to put on an old boat.
Thanks,
Trace

Re: Lowrance transducer question
Trace,
Not sure where you are located, but check with the closest West Marine near you and see if they have a "bargain cave"; not all of them have one. I know that the store in Oakland does.
That's where they keep their open items, returns, and closeout items. They always have tons of those cables and transducers available at way cheap prices. You'll surely be able to get 'em there and at a good price.
