NEW PLACE TO STAY AT CLEAR LAKE, CHECK IT OUT

Post by Bob Myskey »

There is a new place for fisherman, families, Bass clubs, etc to stay at in the city of Clear Lake. This place is brand new, has only been open for a few months. It was built with the fisherman in mind, new launch ramp, new docks with power, Grassy lawn area on the water's edge for events, a place to park your trailer, etc. etc. The owner want's the fisherman's business. It's my guess that most of you who visit Clear Lake have not seen this place. It's a little further north in the city of Clear Lake, (past the police station) and it's away from some of the ""suspect"" stuff you may have seen in the past. The web site does not do this place justice, check it out at www.lakeescaperesort.com.
I live on the shoreline of Clear Lake, (In Nice) upper end. I visit this site, (NCBF) often but seldom put up a post. I see people asking often of places to stay while coming to Clear Lake to fish. For those of you who don't want the casino scene and don't want to make the drive to the upper end of the lake, but haven't liked what you saw in the City of Clear Lake, you will like this place. I live and guide full time at Clear Lake. I advertise on this site and my ad banner is under the guide page. I have no affiliation with the Lake Escape Resort other than the owner has allowed me to put my guide brochures in his office the same as fifty other places or so have done. When I see something that is in the best interest of Bass fishing, or fishing of any kind, I want to promote it. If you have ever looked at my site, under links for accomodations, you will see some of what I feel are some of the better places to stay including this latest one. This place has 18 units of which they can accomodate groups, families, long term stays, etc. The owner wants your business and I have suggested to him that he consider advertising on this site with Tony and also in the various magazines that the bass circuits put out. Just and FYI for all who visit Clear Lake, www.fishclearlake.com, Bob Myskey

Thanks, I went back and saw that. Place is garbage imo, set aside a few pet rooms or charge a hefty deposit. Sure there are alot of people in my boat that have a trained, clean dog etc that would not make a mess.

Oh well, plenty of other places to stay at Clearlake.
