Yeah the bite was frustrating

Post by Pete Marino »

to say the least. Guy and I feel fortunate to finish 9th and not to far behind after the 1st round.

We are off to the skate park next.....hopefully that shakes things a up a bit. Backside boneless, Mc twist, Guy and I are gonna pull off all the tricks at Perris skate park next month.
Cant wait..

It was nice to finally start the season though...

I know of a few teams that will be enforcing...

Post by Pete Marino »

the 25 yard rule at Perris this year. There wont be alot of teams stacked within 25 yards up except for maybe around the pipes. And the whole pipes situation is a joke. Whatever happened to earlier draw gets the spot...and if you get a bad draw you need to show respect for fellow anglers.
Its not gonna get out of hand like last year with boats coming within 5 -10 yards of other boats out in the middle of nowhere.
Last year was rediculous...one team finds the fish and 6-8 other teams think its okay to move on in within the 25 yards..Hell it wouldnt have been so bad but some teams thought it was "cool" to get within 5-10 yards...and that is far from "cool". Not gonna happen this year.... 8)

It gonna be interesting.....

Perris Bass should be Prime for the taking in the next 3-4 weeks....

Boy you guys are really making me regret not fishing the IE wonbass this year,I mean what were we thinking not wanting to fish the MUDHOLE,imagine all the fun we are gonna miss with all the great points you guys pointed out.Having a tournament on that lake with the current water level is the lamest thing going.Shouldnt have even been considered for a tournament.Pete if you think you are gonna be fishing without people on top of you then you are trully in denial.Maybe if the draw is low enough you might be ok.

Hahahaha True Al......

But unless people want to be DQ'd they better think twice about taking the liberty of getting too close. Like I said....5-10 yards away is rediculous and people need to have some respect for other people. Even 15-20 yards away is better then 5-10...but last year guys took it for granted....

You and Rex are gonna miss out on the bite there...its gonna be really good. You fools should come on out and enjoy the fun.
