Dobyns Rods in 735C or 736C or you can use this rod locator from the website, http://www.dobynsrods.com/rod_wizard.php.

Gary has a passion for rod building like no other, I gaurantee you will not be disappointed.

The Dobyns 735C or 736C would be a good choice, but I prefer the Dobyns 766FLIP. 7'6" and stout enough for gettin them out of the thickest stuff.

If you want to try any of these out, lemme know. I can let you take them out for a trip and make your own decision.

Depends, but Dobyns has

Post by Colebass »

lots of options. If your in heavy cover, I like the 735 or 736. If it's light cover and or around wood, I like a little shorter rod like the 704. And the 704 can be used for many things, so if your on a budget or just can't own lot's of rods, then it's a great choice. If rods or money is not an issue, then get all three! :D
