http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=7/19001452816.jpg&s=x2
Caught in Hughson CA. (I cant find the name of the river but its a small one.
1 foot , 4 inches
weighed , Im not sure, probly about 6 - 7 pounds. It wasnt a Trophy but Hey, for catching and Releasing Smallies all day in the hot sun, it all payed off.
I used a 4 inch Purple Worm with a Ribbon Tail(Package said Twin Twirl) I used a Texas Rig, small Bullet Weight. Just enough to make the worm do some nose dives. (RECOMMENDED BY SACTO JOHN IN MY LAST POST)Thanks again Sacto John; this one could of been one of yours .
My first Striped Bass. (A keeper that is) Thanks Sacto John!

Must be a typo
Congrats BUT, 1 foot 4 inches adds up to 16" Legal size in most rivers, (lakes excluded) is 18", are you sure you don't need to edit your post?
Secondly, if you estimate the weight at 6 to 7 pounds, it should put the fish in the 22 to 24" range.
Looking at the picture, me thinks you miss read the tape in the excitment. I'm guessing by several inches making the fish well over the minimum size limit.
Bill.
