Hey all:
I have a Pinpoint 7520 that isn't working anymore. All I get is "Simulation mode" I would like to do a bit of troubleshooting before I pay someone to look at it. Unfortunately I didn't get the owners manual for the fish finder when I bought the boat. I was hoping to get a copy online but can't seem to find a website for Pinpoint.
Can anyone help me out with that?
Thanks...

Bad JuJu
They are not repairing the 7520 any more.
The problem you are describing sounds like you transducer is bad or a break in the cable. You can still purchase transducers.

Well, that sucks. Any idea where I can get the transducer? I live in the Bay Area.

I think the Hook Line & Sinker can get it for you, if not, try Galaxie Marine. If you still can't find one, I could order one from MotorGuide.

Re: Pinpoint website or contact information????
PM me. I have lots of info on these units. It's either the transducer or the unit. The only part that fails in the unit is the board. It may be a case of resetting the unit back to factory defaults. That might be simpler than replacing the transducer. If you find that the issue is not corrected with a new transducer, and the unit is fried, I have a few extra units on hand at a very reasonable price.
