diesel fuel prices ?

whats the fuel prices along i-5 in the stockton/sacramento area ?, any deals ?

I bought it for 3.19 at the Flying J in Ripon on Sunday night, around town here in Sacramento it has been 3.47-3.49

Diesel is just going to continue going up from what I am hearing-actually finish up a weeks training in sac tommorrow and alot of what we have been training on is the 'new' ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) and the gov standards/requirements are crazy on it!Dont look for any deals too soon is what i am hearing

Do not come up my way, as right now diesel is down to 3.49 a gal. And to think it is a by-product of gas refineing and used to be just thrown or burnt away. Til , way back when, Her Diesel found a way to use it. How times change. Bill K

I saw that price jump in Isleton as well for the tax free juice.

I'll tell ya all now ~~ For the last 3-5 weeks..... the refineries are EXPORTING our ULSD (mandated grade of Diesel by the California Air Resources Board -- Not even EPA Diesel can be made in KA any more) to Canada, Mexico, Chille and other "OverSeas" Countries to keep our stock "low" and keep the price at the pumps at a premium.

Pisses me off to no end .... The commodites market that effects us all is driven in a large part by the price of Diesel. Use the "surplus" to keep it at least the same price as RU ~~ Instead of over the price of PU ~~

I have said it before, diesels are for big rigs, not bass boat tow rigs. But, you should all enjoy that supberb mileage I hear diesel owners brag about all the time to off set the cost

Sorry boys, but if less of you owned diesels, the demand would be a little less and the price would drop.

Dan hit the main problem in his last post. The faboulos Bush/Clinton/Bush global economy.

Good news is AAA says regular gas should drop by up to 50 cents by summer in a recent article. we shall see

Its odd that the price at the pumps jumps immediately with the price of crude but it responds much slower to a decrease in the crude oil price.

its around 3.69 here in manteca...and i didnt buy a diesel just to pull my boat...but a boat and a truck camper so there are reasons to have bought a diesel....supply and demand works for all grades not just diesel...jack

Crazy ... last time I fueled in Brentwood was Wednesday, it was ~3:50 ... going back to the same station today, the price was $3.75. The Chevron station across the street was $3.89 ... basically 20cents in three days and about $0.50 in about 2-3 weeks.
