100% BASS DVL on Saturday

Flowers are in the mail Brian... Im really looking forward to the decent weather we have coming up. 63 degrees and partly cloudy.

Yesterday was a test..waited in the parking lot until 8:30 to launch. I have never seen DVL that nasty like it was yesterday. When we launched though there was only 2 other boats there. The fishing was absolutley epic...pull up on any point and no one around for miles..i loved it.

Yeah, that place is getting ready to go off in the next 3 weeks or so. Were they worried about opening because of wind?

yeah that was the main beef. But when i got the boot around 3 ish the wind wasnt that bad, but the rain was so bad they deemed it unsafe...plus i was the only boat at that time there. I think they just wanted to go home honestly.

John, you deserve to win this weekend because you were the only one out there braving the elements. I bet you avenge the donkey that broke you off last tournaments and get him.

I hope some of you people who didn't fish because of the weather step up to the plate and fish this event. Get out there and support a good tournament director who is in it for the anglers.

26 to 27 brian...thats my guess. Sweet weather, a trout plant and good things happening all around the lake. That lake is about to bust like a 3 day old zit on your back.

I didnt avenge him on sunday but i got alot of his buddies and told them go tell that fish im looking for him. So we will see if she shows her face satruday.. I still cant sleep at night because of that fish.

To stop the spread of the Quagga Mussels in DVL, All fisherman must be wearing a condom for this 100% derby and Kevin will be doing condom checks along with live well checks in the morning?

Thank you Todd, but you are mistaken.

Kevin is going to dressed in a Quagga suit at the gate to make sure that no one misses the turnoff and drives by the lake.

Manas will be wearing a signature series, Lake Erie lambskin "Quagga Killer" prophylactic and will be doing moisture inspections. Please make sure that your drain plugs are out.

Scratch that...Matt Burghardt will be replacing Manas. Apparently, the drain plugs are very small.

It was cold out there this morning!

yup seemed like it was when i checked it...said 43 degrees with 7mph wind as of 6:30 when i was on my way in to the office. 1 hour and 30 minutes until im freed of my cage and can go play in the boat. How was the wind though? you can never trust a website.

Seemed to blow right from the get go. One of those deals where it is warm when the wind doesn't blow and freezing when it does.
