Where is "Bluto Blutarski" when you need him

Post by Rick G »

You know, John Belushi on "Animal House" when he gives the speach about giving up. There closing this lake, that lake, the economy sucks. What is it with some of you guys? Get ready for the fight. Spring is coming. Fishing is great. Boat sales to the PLEASURE BOATERS at the LA SHOW are GOOD. So as "Bluto" says, "LETS DO IT". Enough of the negative crap. Glass half full-Rick G.

Rick,

Nothing brings you down my friend. Your a class act! You're right! We can win this battle.

We as anglers need to be more positive. The negativity spreads like cancer and we certainly do not need that.

Either get with the program or get out is my view. They are'nt closing sh@t. If you dont like this sport, or cant afford it, or dont fish because this Org. sucks or that stinks, go buy a kite and sit at the park and fly it all day. Wont cost you any money, you can enjoy the outdoors, be in control of something for a change. Leave the real Bassfishermen/women alone who like this sport. PLEASE, ENOUGH WHINING. Rick G.

Hey Rick,

I heard the song, "Rubber Biscuit" the other day, talk about good times.

Have you ever heard of a wish sandwich? a wish sandwich is the kind of a sandwich where you have two slices of bread and you, hee hee hee, wish you had some meat.

Ummm... the other day I had a ricochet biscuit. a ricochet biscuit is the kind of a biscuit thats supposed to bounce back off the wall into your mouth. if it dont bounce back... you go hungry!

Umm, umm, umm... the other day I had a cool water sandwich and a sunday-go-to-meetin bun...

That should make you feel better

Great post Rick.

I am with you. I go fishing to get away from all of the drama.

If I wanted drama, I could stay at work all day or pick a fight with the wife  .

Fishing is my escape and I prefer it that way.

Havasu here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We, the Bass Community are the Delta's, the "Anti this and that" crowd are Dean Wormer. At the end the haters are all going to be saying, "Man, I hate those guys". Lance, you are the best. Rick G.

HAR!!

It isn't over until we say it's over! It wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor! Wormer's a dead man!!!

Sorry... (like when he broke the guitar)

No promises, but I think those that want to keep the lake open have more ammo now than the last time the Board met. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail.

Way to rally the troops, Blutarsky!

I understand what your saying' Rick but if someone hears something they should say something to all of us so we are not side swiped. If I hear anything else about DV I'll just keep it to myself and watch what happens. Sorry for asking the question.

I say Rick your life would suck if they closed all the lakes. But you still sold boats to all the touny guys that fish mEAD AND HAVA SCREW, TEAM PLEASANT AND MOJAVE. I really don't believe boat sales are up either all they talk about is recession on the radio. I love the lakes closing I love gas prices over 4 bucks a gallon and I wish they would raise interest rates too. I think 15 % for my mortgage is a fair rate. I love life matter of fact Rick I love you.Actually Close Anglers Marine too.

Hippie,

The beauty of living in this country is that if you really feel like everything is working against you all you have to do is decide and act to change things and the change happens. The power of positive thinking is a real force when coupled with positive actions. Go out and ask the world for what you want and if you put yourself into getting it you will.

I'm with Rick. Screw the negativity. What's that get anyone but older faster and a lot more cynical to boot. For every down there's an up. So which are you gonna be, the loser or the winner. The choice is yours.

You know, I have pretty much followed a simple rule in my assessment of Bassboat sales Hippie since I have been selling them and that is, the Bass are in control. They have no idea what the gas price is, who lost their job, who is the President, what the interest rates are. And if they are chowin, people are gonna go. Simple as that. They might get bigger boats, smaller ones, or fix the one they have, but they are gonna go. Yep, some years are gonna be better than others, but the fish are in control. If your life stinks, change it. When Kyle and I go to the Lake for a Tournament, we think we are going to win, everytime. If they ever close these lakes alot more people than just me will suffer. That is why it is worth the fight. But to sit around on the couch, whining like Stork and Flounder is not my scene. It's a simple 3 words. Lets do it. Rick G.

Watch the video Men. Its never over till we say its over. Even if DVL goes down, they will put the temp ramp in to make sure all will be ok. I have fished it many times that low and the bite was awesome. We need Delta's, not Omega's. Rick G.

they wont close DVL...come on now seriously. With all joking aside you know that no one on this boards wants to see DVL closed. Its all a joke to lighten the drab mood of this site. There is like 30 ft to go until we even run out of ramp..we will be way fine..and like you said..they have temp ramps much like they used at San V. for years. Enough of the sad talk. Turn those frowns upside down.
CLOSE IT!!!
