Of course gills are fishing related. If a bass has green gills I would definately release it. Would they turn red once the temp of the water increases

I don't think cooch is god, and if anybody ever calls me brother for the rest of my life so help them! Good fellas what a joke. Spooning should be reserverd for Oroville and Shasta. I am tired of people crying about little things like free food and people cheating poor pay backs because you finished one out of the money, just because you could not catch a fish. To the few people I know and truly respect on this so called forum I will see you on the water where real fisherman do the talking. And if I spelled anything wrong WTF anyway.

Old School NCBF. Remember? These days - to many 'Mah-roons' with keyboards slamming businesses, tournaments, tournament orgs, touring Pros, and on and on. To easy to bee-ahtch, then the yah, me too crowd jumps in.

It certainly has it's positives - hell just last week i found out last minute my work schedule freed up and i could fish the Won bass ProAm in April. I put a post up needing an Am and within an hour had it covered.

I don't envy Stoltz these days - tough gig.

I live in NY, and I also visit many fishing websites based all around the country regularily, and even moderate one site.

On every site I visit, periodically there will be "pissing matches" and "flame wars", much to the uspet of the respective moderation teams and often members of those sites, as well.

In the words of the musician Don Henley, "It's just the way it is"

I find WesternBass to be a great source of info, cammraderie[sp?] and humor as well.
I have been treated very well at this site, and have gotten to know several members over the years on my annaul visits to California, often getting as many invites to backseats as I could ever use.

For that, I thank Tony Stolz, the moderators, and all of the membership here.

I have said it once; I'll continue to say it ...
