Folsom Bass Team Needs Your Help! CAST for Kids

The Folsom Bass Team is looking for last minute "Boat Volunteers" for our CAST for Kids event out at Folsom Lake this Saturday, May 10, 2008.

As boat owners most of you know you can't always control how they act, long story short, we're 5 boaters short for our event this weekend.

If you'd like to help out please read on and contact me ASAP. We don't want to leave any kids at the dock!

If you've never participated in a CAST for Kids event, in a nutshell, boaters will be taking a kid (and family member) out on the lake for a few hours to ride around in a boat and hopefully catch some fish.

With your generous contribution of time and skipper expertise, you will be providing one of the most memorable experiences some of these kids will ever have. FBT members have been working hard to drum up fishing sponsors (Fisherman's, Sportsman's, Hydrate2o, Neillo) and have teamed up with the Life Jacket Loaner Program to help make this event the best, and safest, it can be.

It's expected that we'll launch and take the kids fishing sometime from about 9:00 to noon, then we'll all come back for a BBQ and trophy presentation up at the activities center.

We are still in need of boater volunteers for this event and would love for you to show your support for CAST For Kids. Please let me know if we can count on you to help make this event a wonderful experience for one or more special kid and their family!
