Mark....maybe for you! This lake has been dead for monthes now. I go on this lake all the time and it has never been this bad. I talk with a lot of anglers out there and they tell me the same. I chatted with the ranger yesterday and he told me the bite has been bad on this lake since last August. Maybe I need to jump on the back of you boat (or you on mine) someday and teach me a few things......I'm serious.

Re: Eastman tomorrow anybody
I had a fun day saturday. We caught about 35 fish, most being 12-13 inches. I did boat one fish that was 8.5 lbs. Had a 3 and a couple 2's. One good one came unbuttoned half way back to the boat. The big fish inhaled an 11 inch bass i was reeling in. He attacked the bass and ran around with this thing in his mouth. When i finally got her up, she actually had the hook in her upper lip. The weight and hook fell through the gills of the small fish and hooked her. Never thought i'd get that one in the boat. WoW what luck. Posted a pic in new photo section. Also, both fish returned alive and well.

Re: Eastman tomorrow anybody
We fished friday/saturday. We were the ones out in the lil 14ft jon.
Friday couldn't buy a bite but saw plenty of big fish. Had a few smaller ones while trying for bluegill/crappie.
Saturday again no big fish. All under 2lbs on plastics on rockpiles. Had a couple boil on wakebaits up top, and no love for swimbaits on either day.
Did see a dying 10-12" bass on top and a big girl under her biting at it but she didn't want any wakebaits thrown over her or deadsticked in the area afterwards.
Was there an evening topwater bite for anyone? We banked on it both days and it seemed more or less nonexistent.
From everyone we talked to it didn't sound like the lake has been too hot as of late. Hopefully it'll be better whenever the next time is I return! Thanks for the tips btw Mark.
