Sweet! Its good to see Shimano dropped the price in the Curado compared to the last version. The new Citica looks nice as well. I like my Revo, but I never as much as my old Curados. I guess I will always be a Shimano man.

Nice looking but I switched to revos and I dont see any reason to go back. besides the revo sx is only 159.99 and the S models is 109..... Not knocking shimano but there is no way the new reels are better than the revo........ maybe comprable but no way they are better.......

You know, I picked up a Revo S not too long ago. In all honesty, If I were just starting out, I'd load up on those. However my money has been going to the fine folks at Shimano for far too long to change now.

BUT as far as the difference, it is 1.2+ ounces. The New Curado weighs in at 7.6 ounces where the STX, SX, and S weigh in at 8.8, 8.7, & 8.6 respectively. For some that doesn't mean anything, for others it's huge.

I for one like the new Curado(7.5oz.) at 179.99 vs. a CORE (6.1oz.) @ 349.99, Steez(5.5ox) @ 449.99, or Revo Premier (6.3oz) @ 259.99.

Boils down to different strokes for different folks.

I might be converting from Daiwas to Curados :( Hell of a value at that price but I'll wait and see what Daiwa has to reveal.

Awesome and wait to everyone gets a look at the rest of the goodies in the pipeline for ICAST unveiling!

How does Emeril put? Let's kick it up a notch? Oh yeah!

Heck, I know what they are, and I can't wait!

I love being associated with this company. NO one can acuse them of allowing moss to grow under their feet! They are always moving forward, always on the cutting edge, and always willing to lend a helping hand to deserving causes.

This point is rarely acknowledged but that doesn't make it any less true!

Congratulations Jeremy, Justin, RG! Great Job!
