Speaking of where did someone go .........where is Steve Sapp did he retire from tournament fishing ? I saw him walking around at the Won Bass delta event this last year , i looked to see how he did and he wasnt fishing it ? No FLW events either ?

Yep, Sieg is taking the year off to focus on MV.

Brent is ABSOLUTLY right (and I just highjacked my first post) that MV is the "bomb".

Sieg will be back, he got his new Skeeter this summer and I heard it looks great.

Dont worry, he has been fishing and when he returns he will be kicking some tail.

And where is that JamesH guy been???

Wow guys,

I thought I had ADD bad. This post was so totally hi-jacked it isn't even funny.

Whether you believe in MonaVie, the Acai Berry, MLM's or not, I too want to know how Sieg is doing.

I don't know him as well as some of you do, but when I was busy signing over my retirement account to FLW last year, and clearing all of the three pound bass out of Clearlake so all the real fishermen could get the six pounders that I missed, it was Captain America Taylor that kept me going. He was the one that reminded me that this sport was supposed to be fun. Not going on tour this year, not going to Clearlake, and not getting that kind of juice from him, (and I don't mean berry juice), yeah I miss the guy. And now to find out, that there are others wondering where he is, made me curious.

I hope Sieg and Deedrian are doing well in whatever it is they are doing. If it's MonaVie, then great for them.

Peace,
James

I decided to delete the post that was here. You know what they say, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".
I do hope Sieg is doing well, great stick.

I will be seeing Sieg in Orlando tomorrow, I will let him know that you all miss him.
He put tournament fishing on hold to help his friends retire from their day jobs.
Being retired is great but a little boring when the rest of your friends are slaving away at work.

Hey Maggs, how are those pond monsters treating you? You find any real lakes to fish? (just jealous  )

P.S. Maggs, he sold the Skeeter to Ken. He does have an aluminum boat though

True or false? I heard Sieg sold his bass boat.

Greg from what I am told, it is TRUE that Sieg has parted ways with the Skeeter.

I talked to Sieg last week. He was in Florida with his wife celebrating their aniversary. They were actually visiting the IGFA Headquarters. He expressed an interest in going after some IGFA light line world records. He sounded great, but did indicate he's finished with the tournament scene for now and is moving on to other adventures.

Jimmy

P.S. He also confirmed the Skeeter is sold. He is keeping the aluminum boat for fun fishing at Clear Lake.
