ROLL CALL FOR ALL POSTERS AND READERS !!

Post by DeltaDan »

What the heck is going on ? Image

My BrothA asked me the same question I have been wondering myself for some time this morning on the Ringle Pringle togther-- about the lack of post here as of lately....

BrothA Stonz said "This board/forum is what you make of it" ....... Well in my Image .... It is time for ALL OF US to break out the Shake n' Bake toghter ~ and get cookin' !!

LETS HAVE A ROLL CALL !!

I'll start --

Hello everyone- I am DeltaDan and I check this board 7x + a day for anything and everything.... and more than enjoy reading anything and everything posted here !

I am prefishing with my family at every opportunity available - and gearing up for this Sundays Hook Tourney's kick-off. I am so looking foreward to it as it will be my VERY FIRST tourney with my lifetime tourney partner ~ DeltaLuke. :D

I can not be more excited about this event ~ and the fishing that is going on here in the Delta right now is RED HOT ! DeltaJack has been having such a blast with everyone as well~ and he cherishes it so much... That he is planning on doing a school project on Fishing the Delta - and ways to preserve it for his kids !! :D

Next ..... ?
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

[chorus]Hi, DeltaDan![/chorus]

I'm tunaman, AKA Roger Nelson, fishaholic, bowlaholic, photoaholic - just a -holic all the way around!

Just got back from the US Open as a AAA, and had the time of my life. Finally got a slideshow of the photos up on my website - you can view them at http://www.tunaman.org/pics/2008USOpen/index.htm. I got to meet and hang with Robert, Jenee and Ryan Lee, which was really cool!

Still trying to decide what I'm going to fish this upcoming season... did all the WON Pro/Am's last season, and will most likely do the same this year. Not sure about anything else, or just spend the time fishing and learning, as there's so darn much to learn that only time on the water can cure.

I'm anxious to see how the LL Team Challenge plays out... I was going to participate, but seem to be odd-man out (understandably) at this point. Regardless, finally got to get out on the Delta at the June Pro/Am, and now have to get back up there some more - that is one cool fishery!

Aside from that, I'm also enjoying riding my Fatboy and we're planning a short trip up Highway 1 in the next month or so.

Hope to meet many more of my fellow Nutcases at the upcoming WON events.

Roger

Oh yeah, and sTony went crazy and made me a moderator... what the heck was he thinking?!?  I monitor the forums off and on all day (so watch it! JK  )
Tight lines forever!

Hi Im Todd Magnuson, aka Maggs. For the past 13 years I was stationed at Beale and as of May, I am a civilian again. I moved across the country to CT for work but check this board a couple times a day.

I miss west coast fishing and I am killing them here on the east coast.

I have fished a local club in CA and a few tourneys with a good friend of mine...JamesH. I fished a Winter Nut Case event where Dewayne got real mad at me cuz I landed a fish before he did (plus I think he was mad at KB, who ever that is..lol) I think i am a pretty good "Semi-Pro Co-Angler" as I can back a boat at the ramp, wipe off the boat at the end of the day and run a net real good. Problem is, I suck at fishing.

Thanks and see ya all on the flip side...

Hi, I'm Greg Dougald

I just got back into bass fishing last Fall after being away from the sport for 25 years. I was so into it when I was a teenager that I got a summer job at one of the first Bass Pro Shops in St Louis back in the mid 70's. For some reason, when I moved out here to CA 20+ years ago and got married, I just stopped fishing.

Now that I'm back into it, I've been out with Cooch at the Delta and Richard Pounds on Clear Lake quite a few times just to get my feet wet again. Not having a boat, I quickly realized I needed a way to get onto the back seat of one without hiring guides (I was going to go broke that way) so I joined the Bass Classics of Santa Clara. That at least gets me out on the water once a month.

With $$ commitments (family, 55 year old house, etc) it's obvious I won't be buying a boat any time soon, so I'm currently looking into purchasing and modifying a kick/pontoon boat over the winter. That will at least get me off the bank more often. No need to cover that in this thread, we had a great discussion on it a couple of weeks ago here.

I've gained invaluable knowledge just reading everyone's posts on this forum. I don't post too often as I consider my skills and experience to be way less than most of the regular posters who probably fish on average 10X more often than I. I have been willing to post questions and the responses have always been great!

Other than that I check the forum every day just to see what kind of cow or cat Greg Cornish will put into his sig line!

Uh, no! That would be like replacing KVD with, uh, me! Just wrong, wrong wrong!!! :D I may still make it up to cheer everyone on and maybe take some photos for posterity, along with taking some of Coochie's money bowling! We'll see what happens.

A lot of you know me, just as "mac"..My whole moniker is Doyle McEwen, retired Navy CPO and avid backseater..My big problem is I don't drive or even own a vehicle, so I rely on fiends to get me out on the water..Thank God for this forum and the guys and gals that read it and post..

Joe Kopp, one of our trusted moderators, got me into fishing the Federation events two seasons ago..The first season I only got to fish a couple of events and didn't do all that well although I did get a 6th place on a Clearlake dual event..One out of the money, but got a nice bottle of vino and a plaque..This past season was my first where I fished all the events in the Shast region (won at Trinity) and the Delta region..Made the state Federation fish off at New Melones coming up in October..

I fished the Hook series for three seasons, two with my roomie, when we owned and old Tracker and he still enjoyed fishing and one year with Eric Thoss (Champ Driver)..Made the TOC the first year, but didn't the other two..For any of you looking to get into tourney fishing for the first time and little cost, you cannot go wrong fishing Gene's events..The pay outs won't make you a living, but they are a great place to start or just to spend a day fishing..

Another great event to attend is the Rally at Clearlake..A great way to meet your fellow "nutcases" and have more fun than the law allows while remaining clothed..The winter "nutcase" events are also a great time and place to meet others with our addiction..

Now we should all get off the puters and go fishing..

Howdy...

I'm Alex Massehian...30 years old(31 next month  )...I live in Southern California but seem to end up posting in the Northwest forum more however. I think because there is a bit less attitude amongst this group, and the Southwestern forum seems to have more people that portray Billy Ray Cirrus in the movie "Baitshop". There is alot of ego and "who you know" down here. I just love to fish, and put very little effort towards all that bull$#!t and dock talk.

My partner Chris and I fish ABA teams down here in the Golden Empire region. We were 1 point away from AOY this past season. . We fished WON Bass the year before out of the Central Coast region, mostly at Nacimiento. That was a great experience for us. Driving 4 hours each way from SoCal, prefishing for a few days, and then the actual tournament, all while camping and roughing it the whole time. We did that all season, and I think that it has helped us "cut our teeth" and gain invaluable tournament experience. That was our first season as team partners, and we made a top 20 in nearly every tournament, on a lake that was foreign to us, in the largest region of WON Bass. This past season in ABA most all of our tournaments were @ Pyramid(our true home lake). If you haven't been, Pyramid is one of the best deep water jig lakes in the winter, by far the best time of year to fish that lake. It's got some really nice smallies in it too. Most of the teams we fished against didn't seem to like us very much as we were much younger than them(Me=30 Chris=24), and even overheard some people saying things like, "Who do these f**kin' hot shots think they are?" when we were collecting our plaques and checks at the tournament. Were just 2 low-key guys that live to fish without all the flash and other BS. We don't have tons of money or brand new boats or sponsorships or anything like that. We dont rely on our mommy and daddy to fund our fishing and we make due with what we have, the best we can. It's actually gratifying to me personally to take a guy's money when he's got ALL the toys, bells & whistles, finances, friends in the industry, etc ...and can't even make a limit. You should see the looks we get from the old timers when we're using swimbaits in a tourney to go for a kicker...priceless! We also fish Castaic and Piru very fequently. We just fish hard...Always.

Right now I'm looking forward to the ABA TOC @ Clear Lake. We were there last year with WON Bass and had the best time ever(probably why I post on the NW forum more...so I can vicariously live through your guys' CL stories/experiences). I must have caught about 200 fish on the jig that week we were there, as well as swimbait fish and pretty much everything else. I've been drooling about going back up there from the moment I left the ramp last year. That place is amazing to say the least. I am definitely envious of you guys who call CL your "backyard". I'm arriving the weekend prior to the TOC(leaving the day after my B-Day..WooHooo....LOL) and will be staying at Ferndale this time. I can't wait...SO STOKED! Is it late October yet???

Also.....
YES....I LOVE the Lakers...I've been a huge fan since their lineup consisted of Magic, Kareem, Worthy, AC Green, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, Kurt Rambis...etc...Did I leave anyone out? Hahaha. Through good seasons and bad.....They'll always be my team.

I too am afraid of Greg Cornish's signature lines  Although it was too funny when he posted that pic of himself with his giant custom senko, and this was posted:
usabassguy wrote:when are you gonna have the elves start making toys for x-mas ?
I was drinking a beer at the time and it shot straight outta my nose cuz I was laughing so hard.

I'm really thankful for the awesome people and advice and humor on this forum. I look forward to it everyday. If any of you guys are heading down to any SoCal lakes and have questions or need advice/help, feel free to PM or contact me!

My name is Mike Nance,I have not fished Tournament's since the early 80's.I used to fish the West Coast Bass event's.They were drawing 70 to 80 boat's a tourny.

The first time I ever saw or fished Castaic there was 88 team's and we finished 13th.That was the best we did and I lost two good fish that day that might have put us in the money.

I manage a Plumbing Wholesale store in the big metropolis of Sand City Ca. for the last 25 year's.

I also fish Monterey Bay also but not as much since Salmon season got closed and I think it will be for some time :(

I am thinking of selling my Ranger thing's are just not the same as they used to be.It's a 2000 and I dont think it has more than 400 hour's and most of those were put on within the first three year's.

Good luck to you all

Names Jason, but most of you already know that. I fish ABA Folsom, ABA Delta, and 100wrl. Flat out addicted to fishing. Its helped to keep me outta my troubled past. Met a lot good people on here, and a lot of them are now really good friends of mine. Grew up down South, but moved here about 11 years ago. (fishings much better this way) As most know I'm part of that imfamous group... haha. Gotta give a big thanks to Cooch, Mike, and my other Brothers that helped me out in this fishing game.

Team partners Tritonbrent, Bahlzar, and Steve thanks for the many good times on the water, and more to come. I wouldn't know any of them if this site did not exist! Oh, and Gator thanks for everything you have helped me out with, a true friend no doubt! Whens the next dig boys, and girls? To everyone that i have met on here, its been a pleasure, see ya on the water..

Dan, as always the stick that stirs the muck. I love it.

I'm James Nelson. Most already know that as I have got a big mouth; have no reservations, am not affraid to lose, willing to learn and share what I have learned, don't lie for sponsors, and I just don't care about much outside of my lord, my family, and my friends. Opinionated? Me? No ... It's the red hair ... really.

Fishing, especially tournament fishing, once occupied too much of my time and passion. I toned it way down last year, and have felt better for it. I just fished the U.S. Open for my third time. This time I took the backseat approach, and I loved it. I put what money that I was gonna fish with next year, and threw it into the Open. I told myself, I said, "Self, this is it. No money here means no tournaments next year." So, no tournaments next year for me. In fact, this past U.S. Open will most likely be my last tournament ever. Boy, it feels good just saying (typing) that.

I do own The Fish Icon (online tackle shop) and I manufacturer fishing and boating equipment. Some of my best designs are waiting for production funds, and others are stuck in the patent office. The busiest division of The Fish Icon LLC, has been the local guiding service. Guiding folks around our Southern California lakes and bays has kept me on the water, and given me a new found joy in helping others. I just love seeing a person who only gets to fish twice a year absolutely whack 'em. I like being a part of their joy. It reminds me of what I like about fishing. Kinda nice.

That's me - the short version.

Peace,
James

Well,

This is good news to know that someone else was seeing little posting and wondering what was going on. I thought maybe the Chinese Gov't was monitoring the WB board and sensoring my login.

Hi everyone, I am Joe Kopp, a.k.a. - kopperbass, and i am yet again working abroad these next 2 weeks in Shanghai, China. So, I am guessing that i win the most remote location award !!

Instead of fishing at home, I will be spending my weekend searching for the next cool thing here in China that is fishing related. Hard to find most times, but if i find anything on this trip, i will post up for all.

Cheers,

Hi all. I am John Caulfield and I am trying once again (after a false start last year due to health issues) to re-jumpstart my tournament career after a longgggg hiatus.

I competed heavilly back in the '80's/'90s but decided to raise a familyand buy my first house and launch a new Nextel business. So I put tournaments on the back burner for a while.

Now, many years later, I am going to attempt to get after it again as long as my shoulders can hold up. I have had 4 surgeries now but am finally doing great and I think I'm finally ready to compete with you young guns (and you old farts too like KB)

My plan at the moment is to fish the WON Bass northern and southern divisions and possibly some FLW Stren and/or NG as time and funds allow. I also plan to fish the 100% Bass Pro Teams although there is a conflict or two. My 11 year old son is also begging me to fish team tournaments so I'm sure he and I will
be picking some tournament dates soon.

I also recently became the Ad Manager for Bass Angler's Guide Magazine and am enjoying getting back into the outdoors industry.
I hope to draw on my 7+ years of experience as an ad sales guy with WON/WON Bass and F&H News to help Bass Angler's Guide continue on a strong growth pattern. Have you subscribed yet? This next issue is awesome and should be out next week.

I love this Western Bass site and plan to continue checking in and posting on occasion. Thanks sTony and admins for all you do!

John Brewer (33) reporting. I work swing shift and look at this site probably 10+ times a night reading everything I can. Been bass fishing since I was a kid in the midwest, I live in Oregon now and fish the Willamette river and area lakes for bass from my trusty 14' G3. 90% of what I catch are smallies with a few green fish every now and again. Don't do the tournament thing yet but I plan to when I get a larger boat with a livewell.

My name is Wesley Jones... and I am a bassaholic. I am 23 and have fished a few pro-ams and club tournys, but have put them on the back burner while I take care of my education and family first. With a Dad and family that are avid Fisherman it is hard to not get pulled into the pool. Some day down the road I would like to be a guide so that I can share my love of fishing with others. Currently, with the high cost of survival, I don't have the time and money to feed the addiction, so I browse around on here to keep the Passion Alive. I may not say much on here, but I am often perusing this site a few times every couple of hours. I may not say much on here, but you all should be happy, cause the wifes says, that if I am talking about fishing, you can't shut me up!

Hey all I'm Scott Johnson, hence ScottyJ. You will see qme on the Delta in an OLD '79 Champion, sorta green in color with a 200 Yamaha on it. Ol' Green gets it done fer now and gets me on the Delta a few times a month. The only tournament I've fished was the very 1st Frog tournament, but am itching to get out and fish some more. Would love to do the hook tournaments as I am getting more familiar with the Delta. If you see me on the water feel free to say hi. Too many people stare and dont wave or say hi these days and it would be nice to put some faces with names. Tight lines.

I would be Dan Troxel, 23, graduate student at Humboldt State University. Grew up north of Sacto, now living, loving and fishing on the beautiful North coast of California. Not too many bass out in these parts, but we've got our fair share.

A "hi" and a hearty handshake to all of the fine anglers that make this website so great, cheers!

To Cool !!

I did not go into as much detail as Ya’all … And I was not expecting these Awesome reply’s !

Little Bio of the Deneen Clan-

I was transplanted from a small farm/country livin’ as a child thru my early teens … Went to 4-H camp for 2 weeks and came home to find out I was now living in DBay. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED as well !! – and It shook my world up big time. Out of boredom I started fishing as cottontail across the street from me (before the last of the bays were built) was not in season. I never had to worry about that in Brentwood where I grew up.

Got a job at the Marina washing boat’s for Rich at DBY Sales and got there by bike or boat so I could fish for bass on the way home. Soon I started my own side business and I could get to my client’s boat by my boat and I would fish everything there in the different bays. I fished all the time each and every day. Nothing was very big back then for me as most BIG bass as a trophy were 4-5 pounds. Learned the Crapie bite/season and the Striper’s as well as far as my 12’ gamefisher with my Merc 8hp and 2.5 gallons of gas could take me …….. and a #24 12v on the bow. Learned a lot of tequinqes on my own for worming, blades, cranks, sassy shads and trolling.

Fished off an on thru the years targeting the season runs for Stripers, Salmon and Ocean fishing/diving and forgot about bass fishing. Always lived to hunt/shoot something from then as well till about 1.8 years ago. When married and we had bible study out in Dbay – I could stop off afterwards at the Condos and pull out 2 stripers – throw them in the trunk and be home in Antioch in 25 minuets. Other than that – The Outdoors, Hunting and Gun’s were my primary escape to keep myself “where I came fromâ€
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Well here's my 2 pennies worth.

My name is Justin (obvisely) and I'm a filthy, dirty, rotten, stinkin' delta rat. I rarely venture to far from the river since I live less than a mile away. I usually fish my local Tracy Bass circuit but probably most enjoy looking for that single monster 12+ lbs. fish. I'm most definetly a big bait fanatic... My favorite baits are the bone white vixen, delta bluegill shellcracker, and a 3:16 Bass wake bait. I do fish all year long and some weeks have been known to hit the water almost everyday even if it's only for a few hours. I have been luckly in the past 4 years of my bass fishing to have more than my share fair of big fish (I thank the delta for that). I put a lot of research and studying into my fishing but feel like nothing can replace good ole' fashion time on the water. I'd love to help any fellow anger out with whatever delta knowledge I can muster up. I'm pretty easy to recognize. Just look for the yellow basscat.
Well thats about it nice to finally get a little background info on some of you who I see frequently posting.

Hey All,

L Dub here aka Larry Lee. I've been fishing for about 5 years now, 3 of those dedicated to LMB. I'm 31 and originally from Dallas, TX.

I was fishing a lot up until recently because of traveling, but I'm ready to get back into it. I haven't fished any tourneys yet and my club team shut down a year after I joined. Not sure what it looks like for the rest of this year, but I'll definitely be looking for a partner for next years tourneys.

Go Cowboys!

My name is Tony Stoltz. I'm the director of westernbass.com/.tv and bassfishingtv.com. I've been fishing since my youth and have always loved the sport. My big brother and cousin first exposed me to fishing many moons ago on the Russian River. We spent a lot of time on the river. It was us kids that first took my Dad fishing. He never had much patience for it, hahaha. I've lived all over the 'extended Bay Area', originally born in San Francisco, also many moons ago. I now live and fish from Oakley here on the Delta. Took over the taysys.com bass fishing link for Northern California from Bob Taylor in 1998 and turned it into NCBF.COM and ultimately to WesternBass.Com. I love to fish for anything with fins and have practiced catch and release for thirty years. I've got four great kids and in love with my wife. My favorite places to fish are the Delta, Clear Lake, Lake Fork and Lake Baccarac. I really enjoy filming bass fishing and take a simple approach as I'm a pretty simple guy on a meager budget. I have a passion for music and play a little acoustic guitar. I also really enjoy the game of golf but I'm not the greatest player.

Final thought: If you love to fish, share it with someone!

I said I had an addiction to bass fishing, but I never really looked at is as a problem, other than not being on the water as much as I would like to be..

My name is Daniel and work for Fishemans Warehouse. I work at our Manteca location as well as work on online store. I check this site way too much (a lot of you know what I'm talking about).

I'm a skateboader at heart but once I started working for Fishermans Warehouse, I found myself in love with fishing. I have fished for bass a few times but no luck. Someday soon I hope.

I read the forum postings to see if anybody is looking for any particular items and point them towards our online store. Fishermans Warehouse has been up and running for a little over a year now and we are learning along the way. We try our best to get you the tackle fast and not charge you an arm and a leg.

Take Care.

Short and sweet, Please read my profile. All I would add is travel to western Europe, Canada, Mexico and all the Hawaiian Islands on several occasions and enjoyed most of the countries visited. As I get older (70years) I enjoy fishing and hunting (bowhunting mostely) right in California and some western states as much. Bill K :)
Fun fishing the country, each and every week.

I was born in the house my 95 year old father owns today in Southern Minnesota. My American heritage goes back to James Deacon Cornish, a school teacher in Connecticut in 1625.

I grew up on a 165 acre farm surround by the Blue Earth River which empties into the Minnesota River which empties into the Mississippi. I'm one of 9 children. Most of the boys fished in the summer after and before our chores. Most of the boys had a trapline during the winter. We lived off the land and sold many a pelt to Oshman's fur buyers in Mankato MN. We had a 1 acre garden, a two acre potato field and a 1 acre melon patch.

My father like his forefathers was an avid outdoorsman and sharecropper and house and barn painter. My mother (--< link) never stopped working.

I love archiving old photos for the family. Here are a few topical photos. Click on them for a larger view.

Some of the winters were a S.O.B.

Image
Grandad was an outdoorsman, perhaps too much of one at times. He had a tendency to neglect things if he had the opportunity to shoot something or catch something. ;-)

Image
When Dad put together enough funds we spent a couple weeks in northern Minnesota at Mitchell Lake. It gave us some of our fondest memories.

Image
You can imagine how big my first catfish seemed at the time.

Image
I grew up on the back of this Mustang called Babe. She was a cutting horse. I found that out riding through our dairy herd one day when she suddenly took a right turn and I took a left at 30 MPH. She took adventures with me, sold Christmas Cards from door to door with my brother and I and checked traplines with me.

Image
I got my first pheasant about 2 years after this was taken. I still remember my mind going numb for a few minutes after seeing it go down, I was 9 at the time.

In 1971 I was injured in an auto wreck and am a quadriplegic. It took a few years to figure out how to fish again. I suck at it but its healthy and I have a blast.

Hey all, I'm Ryan Crawford and I check this forum at least 5x per day at work...while I should be cold calling! I'm 27, been fishing since I could walk! My dad owned one of the charter salmon fishing boats out of Fisherman's Wharf in SF (called The Hot Pursuit) from 1987-2000 and I grew up working as a deck-hand during the summers. But now, the majority of my time on the water is bass fishing!

I sell advertising for KNBR Sports Radio in SF. Love to fish, most of my time on the water is at Lake Almanor as I have a place up there.

I also just started fishing with a local club at a few events this past year. So I love reading post from tournament fishermen, and am hoping to do a lot more club tourneys in 09.

I live in SF so I don't have access to a boat, as its kept at Almanor. Anyone in the bay area who ever needs a back seat, I'm always up for it and more than willing to pay whatever is fair (plus a couple extra bucks).

Dennis "Cal" Shew here, a native to the SF Bay Area. Grew up in San Francisco and got into bass fishing by way of my older brother and some family friends who had a house up at Clear Lake in the Oaks.

As many of you may or may not know, I'm also an editor for TackleTour.com and I have a passion for tackle. I get as much of a thrill out of finding some unique and exotic piece of tackle as I do getting out on the water and actually using it, and I love sharing my stories about such discoveries with everyone else.

BassketCase checking in, aka: Chris Karlowsky, 32, Redding

I am an Advertising Account Executive for over 30 cable networks like ESPN, Versus, Discovery, Spike, etc. I have an awesome wife that lets me fish whenever and 2 kids. My 6 year old boy should start out fishing dad any day now.

It was about 4 years ago when I was sitting in the Doctor’s office listening to him tell me that I needed to have another knee surgery (to many years of wrestling, pole-vaulting, dirt bikes, snow and wake boarding) and he told me that if I wanted to be able to enjoy my older years without a walker, I would need to quit my habit of extreme sports. So I figured at that point I had about 3 sports to pick from if I still wanted some competition in my life… Golf, Bowling, or Fishing. You can guess which one I picked :)

So, I sold the wakeboarding boat and bought a bass boat. I skipped the Non-boater step (probably not the best decision) and started learning everything I could from books, shows, and of course great sites like Westernbass. I joined the Cottonwood Bass Club and I also started doing some of the Wonbass Team events with my brother. Needless to say I have been hooked ever since and I cannot get on the water enough. I have dabbled in some of the Won Bass and AC pro events and have done pretty good for the most part. I am trying to decide on a circuit for ‘09 and I hope I will be able to fish in each of the events this year.

I really want to thank everyone for their advice and opinions that they post on here. It really helps cut the learning curve down a bunch. I would also like to recommend to any newer anglers out there trying to learn the ropes of tournament angling to join a local club. If your up in my area check out www.cottonwoodbassclub.com

Keep all the helpful hints coming!

texas john here AKA John Rector 32 living in Grass Valley CA from a little town south of Ft. Worth Texas.

I am a project manager for a Local 3, Sacramento area land surveying firm. Been married for 12 years this month to a wonderfull woman whom I meet while I was in the U.S. Marines. We have two great kids a boy 2 1/2 and a girl 9 months. My wife lets me go fishing when ever I want, with the notion that if she ask me to stay home I will.
I grew up bass fishing with my father and older brother, both of whom are dam good anglers, and it was not till a few years ago when my Uncle and I bought a boat, that fishing came back into my life.
This year was my most productive year, this boosted my confidence to get involved in some tournaments. I know it will be challenging but being a former U.S. Marine i'm up for anything.

Be Safe

The details of my life are quite inconsequential....

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery.
My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet.
My father would womanize; he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possesses and the insane lament...
My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon... luge lessons... In the spring, we'd make meat helmets... When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds — pretty standard, really.
At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles — there really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's quite breathtaking... I suggest you try it.
