No it is a very light grey almost white with the dark blue main stripe's with the middle strip a dark grey. All gel coat no sparkle for me.It is a 2000 519dvs (the 20'6" model). One of the last tuck and role bench seat model's but man that skeeter does look good. And no it is not black and orange and of all people to beat us last night in the 10th why did it have to be KENT.We booo him up here now.

Been with Ranger since 76
But wow the boat does look real nice. (Real> Action word),
Compared to the Z Ranger Series, not much in floor plan differences at first glance. I did notice the little things tho. One thing that I don''t think I would like is that the Front Depthfinder is at 180degress flat. Don't know what I was looking at in reference to the foot control mounting (a new thingeee I presume) I have a comtroll mounting in front of mine (Sorry a 05 185 VX) can't get anything bigger in the Garage) Its not the size of the boat, its the dump length of the trailer and it swings yet.
The boat doesn't catch fish, its the guy driving it that does. Im glad tho to see that other manufacture's that are known for there boats are stepping up to the plate with Quality product.

They're all pretty things and built solid with good warranties behind them. The TM foot control is recessed with some sort of adjustable mechanism that gives the pedal bit of additional angle and height.
One of the best parts of this boat is that they up'd the ponies that could be thrown on the back. 250 hp will make a 20 footer scream. Not sure what the price is be .... my swag is 39 - 43K. Where's Kellen when you need him. heheheh
STony.. its still not too late.....

MSRP on the i class
I was at the dealer meeting and got to drive the 20i. What a boat! The tag on the 20i with a 250 HPDI was at $59K and the tag on the 21i was at $61K as equipped. I know that AIM has sold a couple already and they are lower than that.
Mine is on order and I can't wait to get it.

61 GRAND
You have got to be kidding me!!!!Man i remember when we thought 20 grand was mind boggling.Of course dont you remember when an 18' boat was the bad boy on the water.Do you think they have hit the pinacle of what they can do with a bass boat.
It is Nice
But not worth 61 grand.I can get a Lexus for that and I do not think a Skeeter is a Lexus. Sorry but just my 2 cents.

I don't know if they have hit the top yet
It's like anything else. I never thought I would see $700 bass rods and $500 reels!
I bought my first new Ford pickup in 1988 and thought I was getting ripped at 10 grand. I paid 14K for my first Champion and thought I was spending way too much money.
Where will it stop? Until we as consumers stop buying they will keep jacking the price and you know we're not going to stop buying.

I musta been using Republican math.
Or, was it Democrate math. Either way, I was waaaaayyyy off. Glad Skeeter is keeping up with the top 3. I wonder when they are gonna come out with the mistress option.

Top never be hit.....
The year after I got my last 206 Champion, there was this loaded 221 Champion screamin my name....and about 10 grand more than I just paid. It got taken fast fortunatly for me. Trucks, they have got crazy!! Ever think you could pay 50 k for a pick up? Damn toys just keep gettin more expensive, and nicer, and clowns like us just grit our teeth and slober like a darn dog as we run out and get what we"hafta have". What a RV salesman told me last year when I did the same thing that I promised I wouldnt do..."your trade in will never be worth more than it is today"..yea...right!! Where do I sign? Charlie

59k and 61k
Maybe Ranger should have a price increase on the Z-boats. Nice. Rick G.
Bad Rick!!
I actually thought both Ranger and Champion had toys up in that range ....
Ooops! I want beeing a smart ""
I wasnt paying attention and hit the send key, anyways,I really figured that there were already a few in that range. I need to pay better attention .. Charlie
Well Brian, it may indeed be too late for ol' sTony. I'm going a different direction with my next boat, which is likely to be a new G3 HP200 with a Yamaha 200 HPDI.sTony.. its still not too late.....
In the past I've owned a Champion, two Rangers, a Skeeter and of course; for those that have known me for a while, the Titanic, which was an old fiberglass on wood 'original' bass boat that was one step up from a jon boat. I looked and put out feelers for a new deal on a boat and this was what I was able to work out. I'm told that the new HP200 is like no other aluminum boat on the market and rides like a dream. It'll save me bucks in gas towing and on the water so I'm excited about it.
I can safely say that I absolutely loved the boats I've had. Each was a blast to fish from. Each had different characteristics that made them special to me. I can't wait for the next boat and the experiences that will come from having it.

I am ordering my 20i.........
this Saturday at Aim Marine and it is going to cost about $54k out the door with a 250HPDI on the back. I am really excited, I love my ZX202, but this new one is incredible. And you are right, a 20 footer rated at 250HP oh my!!! And the Angels won tonight, it don't get any better!!!!!

Those boats are not going to be 59k and 61k, although a few have been sold to customers who want to be the "cool kid" on the pond for awhile, for as much as $62,000. The demand for these boats is very high, and they are only turning out a couple a day...with over 100 Skeeter dealers in the country, they will be spread out a bit.
However, we are getting two of the first four boats that they will build for their dealers...those two boats will be on display (and for sale) at our Jamboree, October 22nd and 23rd.
Neither of those two boats, even the 21i with the 300 hpdi would start at over $50,000. Even with freight, and dealer prep...not going over $50,000. You could get a fully loaded one for less than $450 a month.

Re: Hey sTony
Best bet is to give JT Garrison a call at Aim Marine, he'll know all the specs and pricing on the full range of G3 boats. 619 443 0031. G3 makes the HP170, HP 180 and HP200. Also tell your friend to check out the Eagle series of G3 boats as well.SOCB_Hawghunter wrote:What is the cost of the G3?? I know someone who wants to buy their first boat
From the web site:
G3’s full line of High Performance all-welded aluminum bass boats provide the perfect platform for either the serious professional or weekend angler.
Ranging from 17’ to 20’, these rigs provide huge front decks and high speed rides that rival any in the industry and the 20’ model is rated for an incredible 200 HP outboard. The precision pad hull provides the ultimate in speed, maneuverability, stability and comfort. Available in midnight blue/light gold and burgundy/light gold these boats have a professional look to match their high performance capabilities. Able to take on big water and make long runs, the G3 engineers have gone all out to also provide every amenity expected for these solid platforms of performance.

Yes we are ! As long as there are used boats. I top 5ed the C&C Ranger owners Tourney last year in a 1976 Super A
There is no way Im spending a years salary on a boat that works more efficiently if you not afraid to take it over a log, nere some big rocks or jamed between a dock and the bank. That boat dose absoluty nothing thats going to add weight to my sacks.
Now if I had some kinda deal were I was able to make money by fishing out of it for a year then selling it. Well ofcource its the best boat out there and my recent sucess is all because of this new awsom ride.
It would be nice to have and Im sure some of you have enough money that it dosnt matter.
It will cost more to insure that boat than I paid for mine. (87 stratos $8000)
Re: I don't know if they have hit the top yet
I spent 10k on my 97 Champ and am glad I did when I see the price of new boats.....my next used boat will be a 188 or 198 Champ. Can't see spending that much $....especially financing it for 15 years
that's a shine!
