What no weight contest?

Post by rickd »

Odd not to have someone post a guess the weight contest for the FLW.

I bet it won't be over 80.

I'll say 73.

And I'll toss in a bag of senkos for the winner.

#74.67 for 4 day total,

BF of the FLW will be #8.78.

Biggest bag of the day will be #23.27 -- with no follow-up the next day for the same angler.

What was begining to unravel to bust loose --- will be back into Shut Down mode again for this weekend -- next 6-7 days.
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Everyone is gonna blank, but the new world record will be caught on a weightless Gene Larew Salt Craw in Smoke/Blue Flake on 10 lb Trilene XL.

By the way, if you have a back seat open this Sat, let me know. I haven't been fishing sev mths and am thinking about this Sat, but looks like it might be crowded.

Dr. Jon,

Long time no see.

This weekend is opening day for duck and goose, I'm going to try to whack some birds for the deep fryer!

Am I assuming you got rid of your boat? Bummer!

Shoot me your number.

Rick,

I still have my boat. Just haven't used it much lately.
My number is 9258785523. Let me know if you ever need a backseater.

Good luck hunting!

I guess the Delta isn't all it's cracked up to be!!!

It was looking good, with Mike coming in with back-to-back 22lb sacks, but I didn't count on the cold front moving in and bringing down the weights! Still pretty darn respectable, and kudo's to Ish for pulling off the win.

The delta is the same as other waters, a front and wind like they had will most often turn the bite down, but like mentioned, this is still one awsome fishery. Good job by everyone that hung in there. Bill K :)
