Great Job, turly amazing!!!!! Four out of eight wins for the NG, I think that is a greater feat out of the back of the boat than the front.

Have to agree there... incredible performance from the back, under very challenging conditions no less.
Congratulations Justin!

I agree winning these from the back of the boat is a very big accomplishment and a greater feat. Congrats Justin

How are you able to fish as a Pro and then fish as a Co/Angler? I thought that the Co/Angler was suppose to be a Non Pro?justin lucas wrote:thanks guys! the things you say sure mean a lot to me...i hope i can just make a couple of checks next year as a pro. the plan is to fish the national guards as a pro and the flw tour as a co-angler. should be a fun year! thanks again

They are 2 different tours so it is fine. You can fish from either end of the boat just gots to have more money for the pointy end.
Oh yeah,Way to go Justin.Getting harder to find words to decribe what you are doing out there.See you at Havasu.GB...Jim

Re: Lucas is a Freak!!!
congrats justin!! Out of the back of the boat and being as consistant as you have been is more than amazing.Last time we talked on the phone you said you were just trying to keep up with me. Well I thought it was the other way around. I think that winning from the front of the boat is way easier than the back. You are and have been ready for the front for a long time and I wish you all the best. I would wish you luck but I don't think you're going to need much of that.

Re: Lucas is a Freak!!!
luvmystratos,
there is nothing at all that stipulates that a non-boater is not a pro (professional). Some guys make a living at being the non-boater and have absolutely no desire to be the captian up front. There are plenty of NB's that can and do consistently beat many of the guys on the other end. they just make that decision to stay on the back deck; but that doesnt make them any less a professional.
Truly, there are no rules or regulations about who can or should be a non-boater; its all up to the individual as to when or if they want to move to the front of the boat.
Of course, there's the peer pressure, personal guilt, and sheer machoism that drives guys to progress from one end to the other. But, if KVD wanted to come and sign up on the Stren as a NB, nothing is there to say NO.
Could be interesting actually to force guys sometimes to jump to the back............ hmmm!

Dang! Great Job Justin! I told you years ago back in the West Coast Bass days you had what it took to make it all the ducks were lined up for you all you had to do is knock em down and you are doing it dude.
You owe alot of thanks to your Uncle and Grandpa Jack these two paved the way for you over the years. I wish you luck and all the best next year on the Pro side, stay focused and never give up you'll be fine. (California Kid)
