Western Rally 2008 photographs

Post by TomAtkeson »

I regret to inform you all shortly after I returned home from my trip my Mac had a hard drive failure and the lab was not able to save any data what so ever. So in addition to your photos I took over that weekend all of my Coast Guard photos and personal photography that was saved to that computer is lost forever. I knew I liked film for a reason. My apologizes to all. Next year I will have a camera and a new laptop with a solid state hard drive meaning very little chances of that happening again.

On another note I am doing well here in New Orleans and plan on fishing the 2009 Bassmaster central region opens as an AM. Wish me luck first tournament is at Toledo Bend in March!

Tom,

Sorry to hear about the demise of your Mac.

Glad to hear that you are doing well and good luck in the Bassmaster tournaments. Hopefully you can use all of the tackle that you won in the raffle at the rally.

We'll see you at next year's rally.

Great to hear from you Tom..Sorry to hear about the pictures and your computer..I, like masny others was anxious to see them..Oh, well..

Good luck on your tournament quest..Toledo Bend can be an awesome experience..I have had people tell me it fishes a lot like the Delta, but without the tidal changes..I can't say that it is the truth, but if it is, you should do pretty good there..

I had put the photos on it, was editing them for size and color/contrast and the mac failed on me one minute its working the next morning I go to start it and the "spinning wheel of death" usually I only back up to CD after edits are done so I don't go through cd's or lose images I worked hard to edit. Guess that will teach me ... or will it? Solid state HDs are said to be all but bullet proof.
