I going up to Clear Lake Tuesday for 5 days (can't wait). I've only been there one time before and got lucky with no wind. I've heard that the wind can be brutal.
Is there any areas that I can fish to get out of the wind? I'm staying in the Kelseyville area and don't mind driving to the other end to launch if it means not fighting the waves. Does the wind pick up at any regular time or is it an all day wind?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clear Lake Wind Question
Re: Clear Lake Wind Question
I always found that if it is blowing hard on one side it isn't on the other side. The thing is you have to trust it and run to the other side. Most of the time it changes about half way accross the lake. Good luck
