Hi Sethook
I'm Rick Kendrick. Back in the 80's I would fish with the Auburn club one or two times a year. Some times on new years day. The club had some trouble inside and I have not heard much in a number of year. Just looking to see what was going on and who is still in the club.

I just rejoined the club after years of being away. hunting/family pulled me away for seven-ten years. I rejoined because of the low pressure, good people atmosphere. Really no politics, low costs, just good (mostly tooooo good :) ) competition. I am not the spokesman for the club but you are welcome to give me a call if you want some details.

The odd thing is that Thurmanator drew last year's AOY in his back seat for this one. And one has to ask himself...is anyone in Aubrun Bassmasters better than rangerpilot on the Delta??? The percentages over the past 11 years is "astonishing"! A mere 88% of the time in 1st or 2nd    So good luck to you sethhook(who ever you are!).

As for the club info: I believe the club has been around since the early 70's. It was originally called Auburn Bassraiders. We fish a draw-team format with 8 events a year(2 throw-outs for a total of your best 6 for the year). 4 out of 8 tournies are usually 2 day events. We used to put on a New Years Day Turkey-shoot at Folsom, but we haven't for years(maybe we should start up again for 2010). The club isn't that large in numbers, but our members our a tight group of friends that enjoy fishing with and against each other. They are some of the best anglers I've fished against.

Good luck to ya sethehook, but the next time you draw me your name will be "netboy"----<'}}}><

ummmm, we'll launch when we want. You guys can have the 2 oz. Im pretty sure the margin of victory we will have over you wil be in the multiple-pound department! If you are who I think you are...you drew that hillbiily. So, we'll spot you 2 lbs. Do I hear a side bet? You know thurmonator is gonna ask ya for a big fish pool as well.
