Need a new flipping hook.........

Post by aNNieNsaLTIE »

So with the BMF being out of reach.... What would be the next straight shank flipping hook? .... Or does anyone sell those cool little plastic barbs that keep your bait up to the eye?

What are you guys using? I have a few BMF hooks left but getting down to about 3 packages...

Frys electonics (if you have one) sells the small surgical tubing. It takes about 35 seconds to put your own re-barb keeper on....

Soon to be on the market, Paycheck Baits Punch Hook (thanks Bub!)

And yes just hit the hardware or electronics store and get some heat shrink tubing, works just as well as the BMF barbs (if not better since you can make them to your exact specifications!)

I hear you on that one Ash. The flippn hook... maybe. But how bout the others in the line. If you get a rig stuck in rocks, between a tungsten weight and one of those hooks ur talking bank to break off.

For those of you who were wondering about the rebarb portion of the Paycheck flippin' hook. I believe Paycheck baits will also be selling rebarbing kits or hardware of some sort.

There is now a video showing you how easy it is to add a rebarb to any hook...

Centering pin spring around the hook shank holds way better than anything else I have tried. If your just flipping the shrink tube works great. But if you are punching these hold on allot longer for me.
