Swimbait Storage
What do people use to store the Huddlestone size baits? The rows in the standard boxes are too narrow and cause the bait to bend, etc with the hooks attached.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Swimbait Storage
plano has a box out that is wider and deeper than your standard boxes. I don't recall the number but they can hold 3 Hudd's per row without cramming them in.

Re: Swimbait Storage
Just hook it to the carpet in the inside of your rod locker. If that don't work then um... by the new bit planno's.
Hey Scott...
...just give them to me. I'll keep 'em straight for you! (Har Har!).
Re: Hey Scott...
If you give them to Ron, sure they will be straight with lots of teeth marks

Here's Bill Siemantel's swimbait tacklebox
Re: Swimbait Storage
This is a good box

If you have something really big, use this box, it has a double wide row on it

Check out Shimano's new bag line up
I was in the reel repair shop a few weeks back and Ted S. showed me the newly launched bag product line. Pretty cools stuff. The system allows you to vertically store your baits without any warpage.

This is pretty cool...till you know the price! $55!! That is a lot of $$ to store our already expensive baits. Guess they need to match

Re: I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!
Hey Brian does that storage box come with a space to keep beer cold? Because for $55 I would need a beer or at least have drank a bunch of beer bfore I would buy that. I will say 1 thing though, I bet that storage bag would hold a heck of a lot of jigs and It would still have room for a six pack.

its a serious bag for serious fisherpeople
and its big and clunky enough to make a boater give their amateur that .. "you've got to be kidding look" ..hehe
Here is the beer, err.. lunch cooler tote.

Gee...does this box keep my swimbaits in "perfect" condition and guarantee catching fish? Man oh man...we are getting desperate.
I bought the Plano box for $5.

at those prices, I think I'll stick to making a hanging rack for my boat and hang the swim baits there. Besides, its another large bag I don't need in the boat
