Launch conditions Clear Lake

Post by Al S. »

Anyone know what the launching conditions are on the north end? I'm heading up there next weekend. Staying in Nice. Any help will be much appreciated.

You can launcj at Holiday harbor, just keep the big motor up until you get out of the harbor. 3rd and 5th street in Lakeport are okay.

Be careful using the ramp at Holiday Harbor. Besides being steep, it drops off to one side the further back you go. Just keep the trailer centered on the ramp backing up. 8)

I just used Holiday Harbor last Friday it wasn't my first choice of ramps but it was accessable. It does dip to the passenger side as your backing in so stay as straight as possible lots of green alge in there also.

Is Holiday Harbor near 7th or 8th? I've only seen the launch from the boat. Anyways, thanks again guys.
