Yellow is a hi-vis color, so you can line watch, but you would use a FC or green leader.

Glad someone else opened this.

Braid always fades to white after a while. Lots of us use a felt pen to darken the last ten feet or so after the line fades.

Anybody else buy the yellow and mark the last few feet for sight fishing rather than get the green and wait for it to fade?

Using Vicious Braid the color fade doesn't happen as fast which has advantages and disadvantages. I like as much visibilty as possible when punchin' but frog fishin' green and blacked out.... Punchin' also gets clear 20 f/c leader....It seems with the number of clients I have taught line watchin when punching is key.

i think braid fades white if it is polyethylene, yellow if it is kevlar.

or did i miss something?

anyhow, it does not matter. white braid is the way to go. you can see it.

i drop shot w/ white braid and a flouro leader. (15')

i frog, punch, and flip w/ white braid, touched up with magic markers.

like i said, YOU CAN SEE IT!!
