Don Pedro Quagga Inspections??

Post by Leroy_B »

Anyone know if they will be doing quagga inspections at Don Pedro? I heard some rumors of it last year but never saw anything done. Thanks

I couldn't tell you if they are or not. But can you tell everyone what "quagga inspections" mean for the one's that don't know? Thanks bud. I am sure some one will be able to tell you if they are going to do that or not.

Mark, does Don Pedro fall into the EBMUD’s system of inspections?
I start Pre-Fishing Don Pedro next week.

No, EBMUD has no authority over Pedro. Its a Corps of Engineers administered lake.

I run threw the inpections at the mentioned lakes often.
It is pretty easy to pass. Just be sure your live wells are dry.
before and after fishing trim the motor full up and and then full down to let any water run out of it.
Be sure to keep the plug out.
I wipe out the live wells and leave a clean dry towel in there for the inspecter to see.

really its nothing more than keeping your boat clean.

so far I have had not trouble.
just shut up and fish

No. It is a private owned lake by T.I.D, just be ready to pay $ 14.00 to launch and park, rangers all over the place, so feel very safe.
