I have heard ALOT of good things about Billy Chapman's "Anglers Inn"- I believe they just built a whole new lodge and docks and stuff and the long bus rides are a thing of the past....I also believe alot of these places have bass boats now instead of just aluminum boats. Good luck down there if ya go and make sure you post some toad pics!

I have fished El Salto a couple of times and have stayed at La Papalota Ranch. It is a nice place with decent equipment and great guides. The accomodations are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. It is down the road from the lake a few miles (5 minutes). It is much less expensive than the Anglers Inn, which is a very nice place. Check out this website and contact Javier. http://www.ifishmexico.com. Send me an e mail if you have any questions
