National Bass and Powell Rods

Post by Gary Dobyns »

I'm very happy to let everyone know that Powell Rods has joined forces with National Bass. National Bass is a professionally ran organization with tremendous growth potential and just a bunch of good guys. Powell Rods kicked off at the Anglers Marine Bass-A-Thon in November. We believe we have great growth potential also. Working with National Bass and the prostaff we have in place will give Powell the exposure we need in this market. Maybe I'm a little one sided, but I sure believe this is a win win for Powell Rods.

Thanks Gary
We are real excited to be involved with Powell Rods. We're looking forward to a long and prosperous realationship. Like I've said before when I find a quality product I am always ready to use and endorse it. I have been using Powell Rods for a while now and I'm very happy with them. Again, thanks for the opportunity to get involved with a great product.

Kevin and I have a full selection of Powell Rods if anyone wants to see or test them out on the water. Don't be shy to ask. They're super light, sensitive, and best of all...affordable.

Is there any info on the blanks used for Powell bass rods?
I visited the web site,,,and only found price (which I liked very much :D ) and specs.
I also sent an email to the address on the web site.
Finally,,,,any one knows if they sell the blanks only?

I don't think they sell blanks only but I will ask Keith.

Each rod is labeled with all of the information you need. The rod will tell you what the recommended use is for that particular rod such as a Senko rod or Rippin Rod.

Like Brian said these rods are ultra light which helps when you're making a lot of casts during the day. Affordable is exactly what they are, they retail from $169 to $199 depending on what you want. I have attached the link below.

Angler's Marine has a full lline.

John, congrats on your new sponcer. Gary is as good as they get. Cant wait untill the Mike Long Swimbait rods are out. I'm sure it will not be long and Powell Rods will dominate the west. It is amazing what a rod company can do when they LISTEN to the fisherman. Rick G.
