Top 10 signs that should be posted on our lakes. Some of these may take the words write out of your mouth.
1. Do you know where your life vests are ?
2. Is that really necessary ?
3. If you are drunk you may kill your family.
4. If you dive off this cliff you will die.
5. Slow down a$$hole.
6. Remember everyone else thinks your music sucks.
7. To all jet skiers, stupidity is no excuse.
8. This is not your living room, pick up your f-ing trash.
9. If you cant back your trailer down the ramp, ask a fisherman to do it for you.
10. If you tie your boat to this courtesy dock you will be shot and your family forced to wipe-down every boat leaving the ramp.

an extension to rule 9: If you are uncomfortable asking for help, let the fishermen go before you, and learn how they do it so fast.

rule 11. Put your icechests and water toys in the boat at the TOP of the ramp. DO NOT pile up a bunch of crap on the ramp while you and your family bicker over what goes where, while your boat is tied to the ramp.

Dont' get so drunk you can't figure out how to make a big wide turn at 70 mph w/o beaching your 70K ski-boat and tossing your family into the rocks head first.

From El Capitan in San Diego this past week.

We see these guys loading up the boat with cases of beer at the 7-11 on the way to the lake.

The friend that took these had his trailer run over by some guy leaving the same lake three months ago, totaled it. Got his tranny stuck over the middle of it, took two hours to 'disengage' the two, the driver somehow 'disappeared' during the fiasco. When we got back to the ramp we heard the bad news, took him two months to get it replaced.

My poor friends damaged trailer - pics taken by the ranger, and if they didn't get it stuck would have probably just driver off, TUL!:

I think he needs a higher suspension lift kit so he can't see anything in front of or in back of him. Two more inches of lift will do.

It's a good thing no kids where there.

Maybe he was practicing for that new Monster Truck series deal, the Crush the Trailer event.
He had to have been blitzed to miss that!

Yup, he was drunk as a skunk, that's why he took off.
It's probably cheaper to get a hit and run than a DUI.

Oh, the rangers got all the info, as they took these shots, and the young owner, not the driver, was still there when we came in. He said he'd cover everything, and I think his insurance did. Weird thing, and sad, he was quaffing a beer while apologizing in front of us!

Holy crap! Fished El Cap last Friday, not too many bass boats but I couldn't believe how many pleasure boat clowns there were at the ramp when we bailed around 11:00- not sure if that boat on the beach is the one that was gunning his big motor at the ramp for 20 minutes while we waited for him to get his silly loud *** boat off the trailer and free up the ramp, but it could be the same moron- stupid is as stupid does

we did get a laugh when one of the pansies got lit up by his wife in front of us (and his poor little kids) for almost hitting the dock, poor brow beaten SOB should have grabbed the anchor and jumped overboard to sleep with the fishes...
