Motors stolen at new antioch marina boat ramp project

Post by XMAN »

last nite some scum floated in where they are dredging the new antioch marina boat ramp..somebody cut a 1/2 inch chain to dislodge 2 16 ft aluminums w/ 50hp merc tillers...they were the contractors work boats...the boats were found near the old ramp with the motors off of course..work has been put on hold till new motors arrive and insurance is taken care of..they are looking for 40hp yammies but cant find any in nearby states which is hard to believe..they must be in great demand...watch for any newer 50hp mercs w/tillers being sold cheap around the bay area...word has it that around 5:30 this morning someone was backed up at the antioch boat ramp taking off something off a boat that was backed up to the truck...be on the lookout.....X

Don't know if this has anything to do with the stolen motors. In todays Modesto Bee page 12, top of the page under Miscellaneous For Sale. The ad starts out Hugh Sale advertising stands, poles, 2 smallboat motors. You might want to check it out. There are 2 telephone numbers 209-496-5334 and 925-890-4914. Hope you find those motors

Good Luck Bev
