Help with a leak in my bibs...

Post by SKTR 20i »

I noticed last rain that I have 2 small leaks in my bibs (one in the knee, one in the seat. Tried to sew where the seam seperated but no help. Tried Scotch Guard no help. Does anyone know of a place in the Delta area that may be able to repair them. Or a fix that someone has used in the past.

Thanks, John.

If it's ripped at the seam, you'll need to make a patch and silicone it to the area. You can probably cut some excess material from the bib, maybe from the hem. Or you can get an old rainsuit and cut a patch from it and silicone it to the inside of your bib so it won't show.

Turn them inside out and spray with 50/50 alcohol and water. The spot it leaks at will turn black. Use aqua seal on the hole.
