Sup Everyone..
I just hooked my HDS8 up for the 1st time since I returned from the Lake Shasta FLW tournament and low and behold a couple of my "soft keys" are not working/responding...
The "soft keys" that are giving me problems are the 4th and 5th one from the left... So basically the one you use to accept the disclaimer page when you turn your unit on and the one to the right of that one..
I have heard of many "water" issues with these units and I am hoping that this is not the case but for some reason I think I got bitten by it as well because we were dumped on up there with rain...

Hi Rod,
I haven't heard of this problem before. You can still accept the disclamer by using the arrow keys to highlight the accept and hitting enter. I am at the Shot Show in Las Vegas this week. I'll get an answer and get back to you as soon as I can.

I shipped my HDS-8 to you guys on 2/5/11 and I just received my email stating that it is coming back ALREADY and it's only 2/14/11!!
So pleased with the overall experience with this service repair..
