So much for Snow "Flurries"....

Post by JamesH »

The other day, the Weather Channel website said that we could expect some "Snow Flurries" here in Quincy so I didn't think much about puting the cover on the boat as i was going to head back to Almanor...... Hmmm think they might have missed something in their prediction......

Kap Evans and I fished the WRL event at McClure, we got up there on Friday and spent the night at Coulterville..We gpt up at 4:30 this morning to find the boat with about 8 inches of snow on it..When we went to bed it was raining..The motel in Coulterville is on a pretty steep hill, although not all that high, it is nothing you want to drive down with a heavy ladened boat pushing your truck..Thank goodness there were no cars coming on the main road as you could forget about using brakes..We didn't get out of the motel parking lot until it was full daylight and the snow was starting to thin out some..
