replaced mine today on the Toyota...My sister broke a belt on her Ford on Friday and had
to be towed to a service center...She lost all steering when the belt went and luckily she was just going through
an intersection near a gas station...I checked my belts last week but then rechecked them yesterday and
could see the little cracks on the inside, not the outside...3 belts ran me $60 total and I did it myself to save on labor...
A shop quoted me around $110 (not bad) or so and another quoted $225...Check your belts just to be safe and if they're old, think
about changing them, would hate to lose steering when towing a bassboat...
