Rookie Circuits???

Post by FinesseKid »

What are the rookie circuits that operate in Southern California for novice tourney beginners who want to start fishing their first non-club tourneys?

If there are more than one. Which do you guys recommend?

Thanks for any info

The Top Stick Teams. http://www.topsticktour.com

Its a lower entry team format that is geared for the teams that are not seasoned team circuit anglers or teams that routinely finish in the money in the regular team events. Its a low stress, fun environment where comeraderie and fishing are the main focus. There are parent/child options, husband/wife options, and a few other $10 options you can enter. All in is only $140. Contact Ray Layerly or John Barron if you have any specific questions you need answered, or post them here...you will get a response either way you ask. :D

Here are the results from the last event at Piru to give you an idea of the participation. http://www.westernbass.com/scf_forum/vi ... f=4&t=1235

The next event is at Pyramid lake on sunday, April 3rd.

The fishoff is a 2-day event at Santa Margarita in August and the prize pool will be really good this year. Margarita is full and the fishing should be great...as well as the campground fun..

This Sunday, MARCH 27, National Bass West in conjunction with Lake Chance Bait and Tackle are having the second event in our LOWER EVENT SERIES at DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE. These events require NO MEMBERSHIP.

These events are for those anglers that have NOT made more than $2,000 (either angler) at DIAMOND VALLEY from February 27, 2010 until February 1, 2011. (We figure this by the winnings per team split in half)

You can sign up for these event at LAST CHANCE BAIT AND TACKLE in HEMET anytime prior to close of business on Saturday, March 26 OR you can come to Diamond Valley Lake the morning of the event on Sunday MARCH 27th, sign up, have some hot coffee, danish or juice.

SO.....please come fish, bring in your 5 biggest large mouth bass and enjoy some lunch....The best part is you are fishing for a 90% payback on the basic entry and 100% payback on the options.

Any questions, please call Lynne at 760-497-8238 or call Megan at 951-658-7410
