Whoooooa! That there would be the gear of a" coangler from hell". I show up with 5 rigs and a bag that holds (4) 3700 boxes and most of the time I feel that's even too much but . Thats just a headache for anyone to look at! Tell him or her are you tryin to catch em or scare em?! I would never expect my boater to accommodate me with all that...that co must downsize...your boat your rules!

I'd do this. Tell him it's great that he brought his gear, let him know what he'll need and tell him everything else stays in his vehicle. I'd tell him he needs to take half as many rods, one tackle bag, his PFD and lunch. That's all you have room for and the rest simply won't fit.

If I had a negative response, I'd immediately find the TD for resolution.

Reminds me of a co-angler I drew at a nNational gaurd tourney on the Columbia River he had a duffle bag big enough he could fit in it and 7 uglystick spinning rods and all that was in the duffle was 4 ziplock gallon bags each full to the top with one style of worm there had to be 500 of each and I just looked at him and busted up laughing and asked him why on earth he would bring all that weight and that many of each worm to which he answered.......I didnt want to run out in case the bite was good

I flew to phoenix with 4 rods and reels 3 plastic boxes stuffed full and a change of clothes for the weekend. and didnt use half of it. rent storage lockers? 20 bucks a day anything over 20 lbs penalty bucks? lol

The irony of the photo is all the money spent on tackle, and the most important piece of gear the floatation vest seems really dated. Like it came outta Dad's late 80s ski boat?
