Anyone Else planning on watching the Fireworks @ Madviville?

Post by DeltaDan »

Wife, Boy's, Dog and I are planning on launching from Russo's around 1500-1700 .. to head out to watch the fireworks from the boat on the 4th. Been there many a times as a teen - and both the boys and wife have never experienced this - So they are going to get broken in !!

We are planning on staying a little ways back from the mayhem after a tour from the TM - And be some of the first out of there and back to trailor thru the main channel via GPS and eyeballs to Franks/Russo's.

Just wondering if anyone else was planning on it - as safety in #'s is always better.

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Hilton fireworks

July 4: Hilton Fireworks Extravaganza! Each year Barron Hilton hosts a fantastic fireworks show on July 4th near his Duck Club on Venice Island. The fireworks are shot off a barge anchored off Mandeville Tip and usually starts just at dark.

Just checked WB this morning .. Called BrothA Dave - and we are all out. (He has his own story to tell from Yesterday alone  )

It is to much of a risk out on the water right now the wife told me .... and she is not going ~ or letting the boys go as well.

Hell- She will not even let me bring the dog !!

.... We are gona stop in with the Tuna Family for a quick visit/fellowship - then get home and finish staying busy.

Hope EVERYONE has a SAFE and enjoyable 4th !!

This was my first time watching the show out there... amazing! Fireworks for a solid 15 minutes with one of the better finales I've ever seen. I'd recommend it to anyone who knows their way around the delta and isn't afraid of a little night driving alongside hundreds of other boats.
I met up with my buddy Preston but other than us I only saw one other bass boat the whole night.
