Cowling Hieght?

Post by barse41 »

What is the average height of the motor cowling, trimed up or down while on trailor? I put an offer on a house, and im scared the garage door opening is too short.

You will be fine, you will probably need to take the motor toter off and the trim the engine all the way down before backing it into the garage.

Just bought my first boat and I had the same concern, what with a fairly large incline up my driveway. I do have to trim the motor down a bit but have no problem getting it into the garage. I have a standard tract home garage door, 82" height. Plenty of room to spare after trimming the motor. You should have no worries.
