I received this text from Cathy Prado last night:

Erick moved to Room 8415 tonight. Still in ICU because they don't have any other beds on the regular floor. His is continuing to slowly improve

Good news indeed but he won't get well until they find him a new liver.

Got this text from Cathy Prado this late last night:

Erick is sleeping now. He is doing very well, the GI doctor was just here and he seems to have stopped bleeding.......ya!

Erick Prado

Erick (Darkman) Prado was diagnosed with liver failure several years
ago and is now waiting for his new liver. He is currently at UCLA
Medical Center awaiting his transplant. Erick has had many
transfusions and will need more. In addition, he will need numerous
pints of blood during his transplant surgery. We are asking those of
you who know Erick to please donate blood for this cause. It is the
least we can do for Erick and his family right now. Throughout his
life, Erick has continued to be involved with many fishing organizations. Erick has always been willing to help others. Let’s now give
the help he needs.
