The good news you still have the 2nd Amendment
The good news you still have the 2nd Amendment
Come 1 October you may need it because California will start releasing criminals from prison on to the streets. Maybe you will not have a crime wave but the Government knows that 70% of those release will comment e a crime within two years of release. The State says they don’t have the money to house them anymore. You see this is what you get with an all Democrat (Progressive Liberals) representation in Sacramento, their solution is to reduce the number of inmates that take $45,000 to $50,000 a year to cut spending. They did not even thing of reducing the $45,000 to $50,000 it takes to house a criminal.
You do know they eat better then you and have better medical then you. “Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones made it clear there will increase crime in virtually every community. There’s going to be more criminals on the streets, and the logical conclusion is there’s going to be more crime.”

Seriously, CA is lost. Its been run into the ground by years of progressive policy, overspending, and out of control public employee's unions at every level, state, county and city. The unfunded public employee pension and health care costs will cripple the state for years. Illegal immigrants are taking what used to be blue collar jobs and driving wages down.
The state is in serious financial trouble with no way out, there will be no fed bailout. Means higher taxes, higher fees, costs for public services will be going up at the same time they are being cut back, everything will cost more, dmv, building permits, hook up fees even traffic citations will go thru the roof. Who will pay for all this? You, in the private sector while the public employees continue to gain ground. If you can the best thing to do now is leave this cesspool and not bust your *** to pay for a bunch of worthless putts who caused the problem.
While im at it, back to illegal immigration for a min. I finally have had it with this crap. I contacted ICE and turned in a employer hiring illegals. This company has been employing illegal aliens for years, I have the inside info and decided to do something. After we finished I asked the agent who took my report if they actually would do something. I apparently got his attention because he told me he would immediately contact their office in the Sacramento area and recommend an investigation, he also said he would contact IRS and recommend they investigate also. Honestly I was a bit surprised by his interest and he did tell me CA was tuff for them with little to no cooperation and gave the sanctuary cities we have as an example. Have to wait and see now if they actually follow thru with a investigation.

You complain about higher taxes but start a 4 trillion dollar war and don't want to pay for it. You complain about taxes but want more prisons. You better get ready to anti up. You better make "cents".

Greg,
How the hell do you know what I want?Do I want higher taxes?No I don't.Do I want a 4 trill. dollar war?No I don't.Do I want more prison?No I don't.
Now the situation is that scence your president be came president crime has gone up thanks to not putting people back to work infact more people have lost there jobs under odumma so when people lose there jobs they don't make money after awhile people get desprete and start doing crimes to survive. Now more people are doing crimes and some getting busted that means more people in jails and prisons now hope we don't have to build more prisons but they are talking about it.

Scott, Where in my post did I say anything about shooting anyone? I started with a title of we still have the 2nd Amendment!
Meaning we can still protect ourselves. But there should be no reason too if the State did their job correctly and they did not because they are releasing criminals on to the streets. Then I go into that California Government is made up of Democrat (Progressive Liberals) which it is. Then I go into stating how Sacramento has mismanaged the situation by the way they think (Liberal) and instead of reducing the cost of housing criminals they let them go!
Why would Sacramento do that – because they want to punish the tax payer for not giving them more money in taxes. It is the same when they fire Policeman and Teacher and not the other nonviable positions in Government. But that is the Progressive Liberals Democrat’s thinking!

Re: The good news you still have the 2nd Amendment
Of course we will Greg – how about this - hot-cotting them, it is a system that our military uses all the time. The problem with Progressive Liberals Democrat is they always need more money as a solution when in fact finding the constraint (oops – business term – sorry) can solve the problem also.Greg_Cornish wrote:I suppose the Republicans will figure out a way to afford bigger prisons?
The problem with godless (that was just for you) Progressive Liberals Democrat is that they want to treat criminals as taxpaying civilians with all the perks as cable TV, weight room, their own private room, and some of the best food and medical.
Yes - this Republican can do better!!!

Another example of why the state is broke. Prison guards and their union contracts are the biggest reason keeping prisoners is so expensive in CA. Gov. Gray Davis (dem) gave the prison guard unions everything they asked for including the kitchen sink, Jerry Brown (dem) continues with that legacy. (see article)

Two of my sons close friends went to work for our prison system about three years ago. They are not guards instead they are maintenance workers and will tell you the hardest part of their jobs is staying awake after changing a couple light bulbs. They are covered by the union making excellent money and benefits at your expense and will tell you that system is a joke.
You can actually look at it this way, prisoners will be released into the streets so we can keep all those union workers and their over compensated contracts in place.
