For those of you who are unaware and not seen it the past month, the Train Bridge in Old River at Cruiser Haven, has now been made a full time 5 MPH zone in BOTH directions. Proceed with caution as there is no forwarning signs until you actually hit the bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!
For years, this has been a heavily. congested intersection that all boaters have come accustomed to blowing through. There is now, more congestion at this bridge due to this imposed speed zone and boaters having to stop and slow down to pass.

Re: Speaking of Delta Safety.........
I noticed that on friday. On saturday headed back to weigh in i slowed to 5 then 30 seconds later a wake board boat blew through it coming with in 10 ft of me under the bridge. Scary shii. This is an accident waiting to happen
Re: Speaking of Delta Safety.........
I noticed that several weeks back, and at the time there was a Sherrif's boat working the North side and pulling over those who didn't slow. Sounds like they need to be there much more often for now.
The last time I was down there a couple of weeks ago, no Sherrif and some were slowing while others were blowing right through... pretty crazy.

There was also a boat tied to the dock in old river, just south of Franks yesterday, that every almost every boat rolled on pad. A few bass boats stopped, could have been a big ticket day.
