Black Dog Baits Fake Fish/Stripers

Post by GrantOlguin »

Heres a video of rigging the fakefish. Since the Stripers have moved in we have had many calls regarding the rigging of the jerkbait shad. Feel free to call us if any questions. Black Dog Baits 925-719-3867

I have been using these for a while. Yet to have a hit on it. I prefer the zoom super fluke over this.

Fishing the Fake Fish will take some more practice to get it right. Had a tendency to fish it too fast. When I fished it too fast, it came to the surface and acted like an injured baitfish. If there were stripers in the area, they would have killed the Fake Fish. It was fun to play with the Fake Fish and see what "tricks" it can perform.

Only ran into 1 shaker striper today and I caught it using a 3/4 oz Rat L Trap.
