Great day on the water with the family, New Melones

Went out with the wife and kids Sunday for a couple hours. We only caught a few but it was a BLAST!

My 3 1/2 year old son caught his personal best and my 5 year old daughter caught her first bass ever by herself! She cast it out, set the hook, reeled it in, played it a bit, I netted it for her but she held it for picutres and released it on her own.

Great job. What more can you ask for!?!
Can't wait to take my son out fishing but I think it's a little early (he is only 9 weeks old - anybody that knows of a carseat-modification for a bassboat let me know

but don't tell my wife

).

Absolutely awesome.....moments like that are priceless! Thanks for sharing as it is always good to see people teaching their kids and when the kids get excited about fishing. Cherish that one for sure.
