My new Ranger Z521 - Thank you Anglers Marine!! Updated

Post by scottsweet »

All,

I am very excited to share my new boat and the many special things I did to make it a space ship...well..almost :).

I would like to thank Anglers Marine for doing such a great job on the rigging and custom work. Special thanks at Anglers Marine goes to Vicente (amazing rigging skills), Jordan, Mark Hamann and of course Rick Grover. Special thanks to Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, Humminbird, MinnKota, Odyssey Batteries and Stealth 1 Charging for supporting me!!

See my Dropbox for detailed photos. I did some annotating so you all can see some of the many ideas I have talked about here.

Scott,
How did they secure the large unit in the dash? Can you send me a up close picture. I was wanting to do the same thing with my next boat.

Great looking boat and those guys at Anglers are great riggers.

Hey Ricky,

Go to my dropbox. I have detailed photos there. If you already looked, they installed some brackets inside the dash to hold the standard Humminbird 1197 bracket. It is pretty cool!

I looked but I didn't see what I was looking for. I assume they'll know when I order my boat. I was wanting to rig mines the same way as the ram mount has a tough time holding those heaver units up.

Looks great.

Rick showed me your boat two weeks ago as it was getting rigged at the shop. Very nice indeed. Congrats.

Dont worry Ricky, we have the technology. lol Takes a little more work to do, but way nicer, cleaner and stronger than a Ram Mount. Works with either the big Humminbird or the HDS-10. Scotts boat is the Mt. Everest of rig jobs, but really turned out great and he had some really good ideas for future ones. Rick G.

I added a couple of pics. I modified the cover to cover the splash well. Also, I had two fender covers made.
