Yesterday snagged a PICO DIGGER

Post by Andy Giannini »

Picked a few lures at work in some floatsam. Tons of bobbers, with the wire rotted away, bottles, G finish Spooks chewed on by rodents...etc. One cool one was a PICO DIGGER, with a whole bunch of paint and plastic worn away from floating so long in the Delta. Hangers still intact, it would fish with a little clean up. Made my whole day. Its amazing how long these things can last. Not sure if its a litter problem, but most the hooks, rings, hangars rust off, and they pop up and float away, probably to the ocean.

Dang Andy, I haven't heard of a Pico Digger for years, let alone seen one..Somewhere in one of my tackle boxes I do believe I still have several original Pico Perch lures..I havent used them since the mid 70's..
