Lake Hodges WONBass April 21st Update

Holy Cow! Was out at Lake Hodges this morning (Wednesday) getting ready for Saturday's tournament and the big fish were already coming in. One of the fishermen had a 12+. This should be one of the best events of the year. Don't miss out.

If you need an entry form call 619 466 8355 and we'll get one out to you. You can also sign up in person at Angler's Arsenal in La Mesa. We will take sign-ups at the lake.

The lake gate will open up around 5am. Our crew will set up and get everyone inspected right where the lake rangers inspect boats. We'll get everupme launched as soon as we can and get you going. All boats queue up inside the no wake buoys by the boat dock. If you have further questions

Lake gates open at 5pm. Bring lights. Copper wire was stripped from all outdoor lighting at lake, so it might be dark in a lot of places normally lite. Also there should be early morning fog on the lake and surrounding areas .

Sunrise is 6:15 or so. Boat inspection will take place where the lake rangers check boats in. I will be in the main lake parking lot to take late entries. e'll get everyone checked, in the water and launched as soon as we can. All boats will queue up between the boat dock and the no wake buoys.

Bring your own weigh bags just in case. We are expecting a lot of one fish one bag weigh in situations. We are going to do all we can to insure the health of the fish weighed in.
