Piru Night derby this Sat. National Bass West

Post by Brian Linehan »

Hey guys-

Just wanted to let you know that I'll be starting sign-ups around 4pm so look for the NBW trailer in the marina parking lot. I'm not sure yet if we will be launching from the far launch ramp or not so to be safe, I'll do sign-ups at the marina parking lot. If they open the gate for us to use the back ramp, simply drive out there after you sign up.

We'll start the derby at 6pm sharp and first weigh-in will be at 12am. No off-limits.

The Piru Night events are qualifying events for the 2012 Lake Havasu Classic where we are giving away a new Phoenix Boat powered by a Mercury Motor.

If you have any questions, give me a call or send an email.

Wish the hours was 8 to 2 I'd be in. The whole thing about a NIGHT tournament is to fish in the DARK. :(
Make one cast for me.

Yeah, I hear you. Is anyone doing an 8-2? At least with the 6-12, you get the bite before dark and then the usual rally between 10-12. Also, you get home at a decent time and it doesn;t destroy your Sunday.

Getting a lot of calls. We should have a good turnout up there on Saturday.

Hey Brian, is there going to be a BBQ, or does everyone have to fend for themselves and grab some burgers before getting there?
Fishing is not a matter of life or death.
It's more serious than that!

Last months FOCL was 8 to 3 or 3:15am depending on your flight. I got home at 5:45. It was light out when we got home.

No BBQ at these events. We are shooting for around 6pm take off, but if for some reason it takes a while longer, I'll make sure we add time on the back end.
