Tournament angler Harvey Kunkel Has Passed Away.

For those who knew him Harvey passed away Sunday morning as he was getting ready to go fishing. His daughter had told me that they found him by his boat and they did everything they could to bring him back.Harvey had fish all of the SO Cal team tournaments:ABA, Anglers Choice, WON Bass, B.A.S.S Federation Nation and was a member of the Ventura County Bass Club.
At this time I have not heard what will do for his services, I will keep you posted.He was my tournament partner, travel partner, fishing buddy and a good friend. He moved to North Carolina in 2007 after he retired. There are pictures of Harvey on the Ventura County Bass Club Facebook page.

My best memory of Harvey is a cup of coffee in one hand, a smoke in his mouth, a split-shot rod in the other hand and he was asleep lol only to be awaken by a bass hitting his line. IHe will be missed by all and myself as well. If you have a story you would like to share please do so his family my read them as well. Good bless you Harvey and your family.

Sorry to hear Mark. I remember fishing with Harvey at some of the old BASS Fed derbies. He will be missed.
